Why this company?
I was looking for a company to do my internship and believe me this was not an easy search. I was the first person in my class to start looking for an internship, but things didn't go smooth at all. I aplied to about 40 different companies but i sadly got rejected alot, but the places i did get accepted to didn't feel right. Some didn't have space for me, some tought i was too young, others said i didn't have enough experience. This all changed January 26th. I was scrolling through Stagemarkt.nl ( the website where we can find all sorts of internships) and i found De Veluwse Hoevegearde, while i was looking through the pictures and videos of the company i fell in love. I contacted them, went on an interview and about a week later i got the call. I.GOT.ACCEPTED!! Everything about the place felt right and it was best feeling ever.
My daily tasks and projects
During my internship, I have the opportunity to take on various tasks that directly contribute to the daily operations. I am involved in checking guests in and out, solving problems, and providing extensive assistance to guests with their questions and needs. Every day brings a new challenge and an opportunity to develop practical skills. My collegues all work together, the maintanence team, the front desk employees and the parkmanager all form 1 team. And this team is amazing.
The warmth on the workfloor.
The atmosphere within the company is fantastic. The people are incredibly kind and work very well together. There is a professional attitude, while at the same time there is always room for friendliness and a personal touch. This combination creates a pleasant and motivating work environment in which I can develop myself to the fullest.
