Checking in and out
One of the most intresting parts of my internship is checking guests in and out. Every interaction is an opportunity to make a positive first or last impression. It is a task that requires a listening ear and a friendly attitude, and I truly enjoy welcoming and saying goodbye to guests with a smile every time. We as the receptionists also carry the task of dealing with complaints. Guests come to us with issues they have\had and we have the task to find a solution for it and help them.
Answering questions
Answering guests’ questions is a core responsibility that challenges me every day. From helping guests find their way around the area to solving small problems, I am learning to act quickly and effectively. These interactions are not only educational, but also give me a great sense of satisfaction when I am able to help someone well.
Creating this blog: my personal project
One of the projects I find most inspiring is creating this blog. It is not only a school assignment, but also an opportunity to showcase my creativity and organizational skills. The process of creating content, structuring information, and ensuring a professional appearance is both educational and ofcourse enjoyable.
