My 18th week as an intern

This was one of my last weeks at my internship, which honestly feels a little strange. It doesn’t feel that long ago that I started, and now I’m already getting close to finishing. The week itself was pretty quiet and not very busy, but I actually didn’t mind that. By now, I feel completely comfortable with everything at the reception. Tasks that used to feel difficult or unfamiliar have become things I can just do without having to think about them too much.

Because it’s getting close to the end, I’ve also been looking back at my time here. I’ve had so many different kinds of weeks, from incredibly chaotic ones to really quiet ones, and I’ve learned a lot throughout the whole experience. I’m definitely going to miss the people I work with, especially because I’ve had such a good time with my colleagues.

This week I also went to the store with Ralf, which was a nice change from my usual tasks. I also helped paint a tree on the animation window. It was something small, but it was actually really fun to do something creative and see the result afterwards.

Overall, it was a calm week, but it made me realise how much has changed since I first started. I feel much more confident, independent and comfortable with my work now. It’s a little bittersweet knowing that my internship is almost over, but I’m also really proud of everything I’ve learned and all the experiences I’ve had along the way.
