My 17th week as an intern

Week 17: A Fun and Productive Week

This was the 17th week of my internship, and overall, it was a really fun week. We didn’t have an enormous amount of work to do, so things were relatively calm. Even though we weren’t extremely busy, we still managed to get quite a lot done, which made the week feel productive.

One of the things I worked on this week was cleaning up the animation room. It definitely needed some attention, so I spent some time organising and tidying everything up. It was nice to work on something different for a change, and seeing the room looking much better afterwards was actually pretty satisfying.

There was also a big vergadering of het bestuur at the park this week. It was interesting to see everything happening behind the scenes and to see how much goes on outside of the things guests normally see. It reminded me that there is a lot more to running a park than just the reception and the activities.

The rest of the week was pretty relaxed. We didn’t have too many big problems or stressful situations, which was definitely welcome after some of the more chaotic weeks I’ve had recently. I also got to spend time with my colleagues, which is always one of my favourite parts of being at my internship.

Overall, it was a fun and productive week. We might not have been extremely busy, but sometimes it’s nice to have a calmer week where you can actually get things done without constantly rushing from one task to another.
