Week 3 of My Internship
This week was mainly focused on learning new tasks and getting more comfortable with the daily responsibilities of my internship. Compared to the first few weeks, I felt more confident and was able to take part in more activities around the workplace.
One of the tasks I learned was collecting and organizing linen. This helped me understand how important it is to keep everything prepared and organized so that guests have a pleasant experience. I also practiced answering the phone and speaking with customers in a professional and friendly way. At first, I was still a little nervous, but with practice I became more confident.
Another important part of this week was learning how to make reservations and how to change existing reservations when guests requested adjustments. This taught me how important accuracy and communication are when working with customers.
I also spent time checking bicycles to make sure they were safe and ready to use. In addition, I learned more about the bike rental process, including how to help customers rent a bicycle and provide them with the information they need.
Overall, this week was a great learning experience. I gained new skills, improved my confidence, and became more familiar with the daily operations of the company. I am excited to continue learning and taking on more responsibilities during my internship.
