My 7th week as an intern

This week was a nice mix of quiet moments and busier days, with a few unexpected challenges along the way. Monday was surprisingly calm, which doesn't happen very often. It gave us the opportunity to catch up on a few tasks and enjoy a slower pace before the rest of the week picked up. Sometimes those quieter days are just what you need to reset and prepare for what's ahead.

On Tuesday, I had the day off, so there wasn't much happening work-wise. It was lovely to have a chance to relax, recharge, and take a break from the usual routine before heading back in on Wednesday.

Wednesday was a fairly typical day. Everything ran as expected, and there weren't any major surprises. It was one of those steady days where you simply get on with the work and keep things moving.

Unfortunately, Thursday didn't quite go to plan. I developed a really bad migraine during the day, and it quickly became clear that I wasn't going to be able to work through it. I decided it was best to head home early so I could rest and recover. While it was disappointing to leave before the end of my shift, taking the time to look after my health meant I was able to recover properly.

By Friday, I was thankfully feeling much better. The day was definitely busier than the rest of the week, but it never felt overwhelming. We managed to stay on top of everything, and despite the faster pace, it was a productive and satisfying way to finish the week. Looking back, it was a week with a little bit of everything, but one that ended on a positive note.
