This week at my internship was another valuable learning experience. Throughout the week I continued to improve my confidence at the reception by answering guests' questions and helping them as best as I could. Every day I answered questions, I asked questions and that is how you grow.
I also had the opportunity to communicate with guests, provide information about the park and its facilities, and assist with general reception duties. Answering questions from guests made me realize how important the front desk actually is. The smallest questions, to the biggest questions get asked.
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend my internship during the weekend due to medical reasons. Although I would have preferred to be there, my health had to come first, and taking time to recover was the right decision. I hope to return feeling fully recovered and ready to continue learning.
Overall, it was a positive week in which I gained more confidence, learned new things, and became more independent in assisting guests. I look forward to continuing to develop my skills during the coming weeks of my internship.
