This week was full of memorable moments. One of the most special things that happened was that a guest went into labor while staying at the park. To congratulate the family, we sent them a maternity gift, which was a lovely gesture from the team.
Another fun experience was driving around the park with Anouk to collect old brochures from the bungalows. I was the one driving the golf cart, and everything was going well until I suddenly spotted a huge spider. It scared me so much that I immediately jumped out of the moving golf cart. Not my brightest moment i know. Luckily, we were driving very slowly, and Anouk stepped in like a true hero by getting rid of the spider. After we both laughed about it, we continued our route and finished collecting the old brochures.
Later in the week, I also helped Ralf wash the golf cart. It was a nice task to do together, and it felt good to make sure the golf cart was clean and ready to use again.
Besides these activities, I continued helping guests at reception and answering their questions. I notice that I am becoming more confident in communicating with guests and carrying out my daily tasks. Overall, it was another enjoyable week with a good mix of learning, teamwork, and a few funny moments that I won't forget anytime soon.
